i swear i didn’t ask for this but i think the house is listening now it breathes a little when the lights are off and sometimes the floor gets warmer as if something is sleeping just beneath it not dead not alive something in-between maybe a pulsing maybe it hums and when the hum hits the same note three times i know to turn the television off even though the television has no cable
last night the cat told me something but i don’t have a cat and the voice didn’t sound like one but it was right behind my ear and it said they see the mirrors now and i knew what it meant even though i didn’t and the mirror in the bathroom was fogged despite there being no shower and when i wiped it off the reflection was just static like the kind on VHS tapes when you rewind too fast
i think the clocks are trying to keep me here i broke one but its hands kept spinning and now i feel like i’m falling forward even when sitting still every time i blink the room gets a little darker and i haven’t slept in maybe five or twelve or two days
please don’t send help because help has eyes and the eyes know where the wire hum goes and if you follow it long enough it gets inside you too and then you start to hum and people notice and that’s when it’s too late
